This is our debut full length release. It was recorded in Los Angles at Kingsize Soundlabs in July of 2020. As you can imagine that was not an easy time to be anywhere. It has taken us a long time to get it from studio to your ears. You see, we've been navigating the music business for the first time in a few decades, and when we went into out Cyrogenic Time Traveling Pods back in 1993, the music business was a much different landscape. "Your Honor, your words frighten me, for I am just a simple caveman lawyer." So forgive us for taking a little longer than normal. We're committed to getting a steady flow of material out into the world now that this album is in your hands. I'm sure you've heard the plea many times before, but if you listen...and you like, do us a solid and talk about it with your friends. Sure, a share would be cool, but we believe real conversations about what you like and what you don't like are much more effective. And whats so bad about the idea of discussing music with a friend? In real life...mouth to ear? That's why Kick and the Hug exists. We're music fans first and foremost. So hell, even if you don't like our record...if you find something awesome out there while you're perusing the dark corners of the noisy interweb...let us know what you find.
